About : Senior Football is played in an 11v11 format. All rules followed are as set by FCQ and FFA - laws of the Game. All spectators must follow the Code of Conduct set out by FFA. Gracemere Redbacks have nominated teams in the Women's League and Men's Community Division for the past few years, however GRFC would love to be able to enter a team, for the first time, into the 2nd Division comp in 2020. If you are interested in joining our 2nd Division team, please send through an expression of interest.

Uniform : All players are required to wear the following to all training and games
  • Shin pads/guards
  • Club shorts ($20)
  • Club socks ($10)
  • Football boots
  • Jewellery (with the exception of medical alerts) is not permitted to be worn at training and/or games)

Season Length: January 2021 - September 2021 


Senior Divisions:
  • Game time = 2 x 45 min halves ​
    • Women's League

​Training: All training is held at the Gracemere Sports Club, 226 Victoria St. Please see map here
  • Women's League
    • ​Training  - Monday and Wednesday - 7.00pm to 8.30pm
(times and days can change dependent on coach availability)


Game Venues & Times: Games are played on a Friday night* throughout the CQ region, including Capricorn Coast, Gracemere and Rockhampton. They start by 6.30pm, however start times can vary throughout the competition (*Some Saturday afternoon games throughout the season which will be located in Gracemere or Gladstone)
Players are responsible for getting themselves to games by a time specified by the coaches.


Cost: The season fee is $375 per player 19 and over and $308.50 for 18 and under. This fee contains components for FFA, FQ, FCQ and GRFC (full details please see our FORMS tab. Payment is required in full prior at the time of registering the player online. GRFC is able to offer a payment plan through Pay Advantage, however fees and charges will apply. Please contact us prior to registering for more details on a payment plan. Fees cover insurances as well as running costs involved with GRFC and running of the competition. Other than a family cost for membership to the Gracemere Sports Club, no other fees will be charged during the year.
